Product Review- CND ~ VINYLUX

On the search for another option other than acrylic nails, I came across this long wear nail polish at the beauty supply last week. If you have a job that requires a lot of hand washing you know its tough to keep pretty nails. My nails we're pitiful since removing my acrylic nails last week. I mean Ug-ly!
I'm always up to try something new in the beauty world so I'm giving the CND VINYLUX a shot.
It's super easy and doesn't require any more steps than a normal polish and topcoat. It boast it will stay in place for a week so I'm interested to see how long it will last on me. I will update ya'll on my results!

~ Weekly Top Coat (you Have to buy the Weekly Top Coat to seal the polish)

They recommend buying the remover to easily take it off, which is the Shellac power polish remover.

Chair Update

You know what makes me happy? Seeing big results from small changes. My dining room chairs were looking tired and dated, so why not change them up! Just a little paint to create some stripes and a few pieces of fabric for the seats and Tadaaaa it feels so much better!

I'll be honest. I have a turquoise addiction. So of course I wanted to throw in a little to brighten up the grey chairs. Since I did the bright pop, I kept the fabric more of a neutral graphic. I also stapled some foam to the existing cushion because they weren't padded at all before. In fact I got this set of chairs for free years ago so I had nothing to lose! Ha! Also I used acrylic paint on the chair backs for the stripes since I already had some on hand. Don't be intimidated by old chairs, a little tlc goes a long way.

A little DIY on Labor Day, why not! :)
